During the course of this school year,
Caralee Lucero has been a life science/biology laboratory assistant with Mr.
Ray Gallegos. She is the daughter of
Angelo and Julie Lucero. She has
participated in greater than eight dissections.
As a teaching assistant, she has demonstrated a mastery of the subject
matter far beyond her years. She enjoys
a unique rapport with students in an effort to challenge them and foster a
genuine and enthusiastic interest in life science. She has also served as an excellent role
model for those who are often intimidated by challenging
science courses and dispels the gender bias often associated with pursing a
career in advanced science.
